Getting to know Trezor Suite: a calmer way to manage crypto

Trezor Suite is the companion app for managing assets with a Trezor hardware wallet. It brings account balances, transaction history, and device settings into one place, while your private keys remain protected by your device. For anyone new to self-custody, that separation is worth understanding: software helps you prepare a transaction, but the hardware wallet is where you review and approve it.

Start by connecting your device and following its on-screen setup prompts. Create a recovery backup carefully, keep it private, and never type your recovery words into a website or share them with anyone. In Suite, take a moment to explore your accounts and learn where transaction details appear. When sending funds, verify the recipient address and amount on the device screen itself before confirming. A familiar routine can prevent rushed mistakes.

Suite also makes portfolio activity easier to follow and offers device-management tools, including firmware updates. Download software only from official Trezor sources, check prompts before acting, and keep your computer and device up to date. Features can vary by device, asset, and software version, so consult current official guidance when in doubt. Self-custody gives you meaningful control—and makes careful habits part of the experience. Consider starting with a small test transaction when learning a new workflow, and take time to understand network fees and confirmation times before sending. A little patience is a useful security feature.
